In the rivers of the Amazon the cayman is a quiet guardian of the water: patient, watchful and strong. This handmade necklace carries that presence, with pale, pointed cayman pieces set around a dark round center and small beads on a dark cord.
It was made by Alex, an artisan we buy from near Iquitos, Peru. Alex told me he bought the cayman pieces and glued them together to make the necklace. He did not kill the cayman.
Each one is made by hand, so no two are exactly alike.
Price: $30. Shipping: $5.00 flat within the US. Orders ship two days after purchase on our Monday, Wednesday and Friday shipping days (no weekend shipping). Because of the nature of the product there are no refunds, except for items damaged in shipping (photo proof required).
