Bufo Sanctuary Journey with the ComCaac (Seri) Tribe
Coastal Sonora, Mexico | July 30 – August 1 (Optional Extension to Aug 2)
Overview
This is a rare invitation into sacred territory—both land and lineage.
Join a small, intentional group on a guided journey to the coastal homelands of the ComCaac (Seri) Tribe of Sonora, Mexico, during the heart of monsoon season when the desert comes alive. This experience centers on relationship, respect, and learning—with the Bufo Alvarius toad, the land it inhabits, and the elders who have safeguarded this medicine for generations.
You will spend time directly with three of the most respected grandfathers of the ComCaac lineage—
Tata Chapo Barnett, Tata Pancho, and/or Tata Toro Canelo—
receiving teachings on traditional Bufo extraction (milking) techniques, ceremonial context, and ancestral wisdom passed down through lived experience, not books. This is not a retreat for spectators. It is a cultural immersion rooted in humility, presence, and reciprocity.
